What does Euro Steel sell?
Euro Steel is a specialist value-added distributor/processor of stainless steel, aluminium and special steels in a wide range of products, typically flat products (sheet, plate, coil & strip), extruded products and sections (such as angle, flat & round bar). Euro Steel manufactures large bore pipe, stocks the full range of stainless steel pipe and butt-weld & BSP fittings and pipe fittings such as flanges, collars, & valves. Euro Steel also supplies special profiles, tread plate, rigidized and textured materials and ornamental materials, tubing and tube fittings. In addition we supply consumables such as Stainless steel cutting and grinding discs, pickling and passivating products, welding products, and cleaning products. Euro Steel also supplies selected roofing products.
Do you manufacture stainless steel and aluminium products?
Euro Steel sources from reputable mills locally and internationally and does some in-house processing in order to accommodate customer’s needs.
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) a customer has to purchase?
No. Euro Steel has a full cash sale department and will sell small or large quantities with the exception of non-standard materials which will require a mill quantity. No customer is too big or too small.
What grades of stainless steel and alloys of aluminium do you carry?
Euro Steel has large stocks of commonly demanded grades of Stainless steel – 304/L,316/L, Duplex grades, 409,430, 3cr12 commercially available from the mills locally and imported . Aluminium alloys depends on product and gauges but 1050, 5083, 9017, 6082, 7075, 4017, 5754, 6063-t6 are the typical alloys. Non-standard grades and alloys can be brought in but MOQ and lead times will apply.
Does Euro Steel offer payment terms?
Euro Steel gives 30 day payment terms provided a credit application has been submitted and the credit standing of the customer is acceptable. The process takes approximately 3-5 days.
Are your products locally sourced?
Euro Steel’s stock is sourced from local mills as well as selected overseas mills. This ensures we carry a wide range of products at market related prices and availability in the event of supply chain disruptions.
Why is there no price list on your website?
Stainless steel and aluminium prices change regularly as they are directly linked to international commodity pricing and foreign exchange rates. The alloying elements are particularly volatile so a set price list cannot be listed.
Does Euro Steel export their products to other countries?
Euro Steel has several specialist export divisions – In Durban which caters for sea freight shipments to the Indian ocean islands and east African seaboard countries, and from Johannesburg a Road and Airfreight division to inbound countries in Africa. We have a trading division which will export to any country requested. Our team of experts can assist you with all your Stainless, Aluminium, Special Steels, Carbon steel and non-standard metal requirements.
